Review: This Custom Art Box includes the ADV Films release of Gamera:  Guardian of the Universe.  (Please refer to Digital Monster Island’s full review for specs and features on that disc.)  The box is designed to hold all three Heisei Gamera films. Gamera 2:  Attack of Legion and Gamera 3:  Revenge of Iris are both available separately. The visual design of the box takes a minimalist approach.  Some fans may have preferred a more dynamic and colorful design, while others will be satisfied with its stylish and somber look. The Heisei Gamera films are some of the best kaiju eiga ever made.  All kaiju fans should have all three films in their library.  Many people prefer to have a series of related films packaged together in a set.  It increases both the display value of one’s collection, as well as helping to keep things organized.  It can be infuriating when a company releases individual films in a series separately, and then issues a box set later.  ADV has taken the initiative in solving this dilemma for their customers by offering the option of buying the box up front with the first movie.  Grade:  A
